Hi this is Kingsley
Just sending all you professional teams out there a message - I have worked extremely hard this season gaining consistant top results and great success (have a look below).
My next goal is now in the planning. I would love to be considered for a ride on a 600cc in 2010 in the BSB Superstock class with a view to then move forwards through to supersport and further. My 16th birthday is on 12th December and am eager to do well yet again and believe I can. This year was supposed to have been my learning curve year on my Kawasaki ZXR400 but just look what I have achieved.
I am willing to put in the work if you are willing to take me on.
Should you need to contact us you can telephone Steve (dad) on 07877748262 or Cheryl (mum) on 07877223739

WOW WOW WOW DERBY PHOENIX MOTORCYCLE CLUB 2009 F400 CHAMPION WOW WOW

With the Donington Park meeting being cancelled due to bringing forward the alterations for Formula 1 in 2010 Kingsly with a 131 points lead was crowned 2009 champion before the meeting at Cadwell Park on the 19th 20th September took place with only 100 points left to ride for.
Kings became the youngest Derby Phoenix Champion in this class in his first year of competing totally thrashing 5 ex-champions and other established experiened riders to the finish line.
From the very first race meeting held in April at Croft Kingsley starting on row 5 in his first race startled the regulars with his smooth consistent riding style finishing the weekend with 2 second places, a 5th and a 9th (these becoming the lowest finishes of his season). From then on Kings took 11 wins and 7 second places to round off a superb years racing showing maturity beyond his years, great sportsmanship and clear self-bellief - a truly worthy champ!!
Well done kidda - your amazing.

KINGS #29 RACE HISTORY
Hi
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Kingsley Owen Ruddy, I am just 15 years old and have been motorcycle racing since October 2003.
My very first season was riding with Phoenix Mini-moto Racing Club on my 49cc GRC mini-moto in which I finished 9th place in the 2004 British Championship. 2005 however I improved vastly gaining the British runner-up position.
2006 was a further excellent year for me when I moved up to my first full size gearbox machine, a 50cc Conti V3 and became the Conti Cup UK Champion. Also in 2006 I became the Junior B British Supermoto Champion.
2007 was a disasterous year as we signed up to the Derbi 125 package with the ACU. Half way through the season we had still not got a running race bike and therefore called it a day, got our money back from the ACU and ordered an Aprilia 125 to run with the superteens. I was racing with the front runners and things were looking good for the following season. Things were not meant to be though as I was taken out a few times and the season seemed to be riddled with bad luck for me mechanically. I still gained my national licence though.
Before my 15 birthday my dad Steve approached Roger Middleton (now a valued friend of our whole family) with regard to building me a Kawasaki ZXR400. Roger had not seen me ride and built me a bike to allow me to get used to the 2 stroke4 stroke transition initially. Because I had to wait until my 15 birthday before I could ride the bike getting practice was difficult. We were going to treat the 2009 season as a learning curve year with no pressure and just enjoy the experience.
I entered my first race with Thundersport GB at Mallory and the bike felt great, I did really well. I loved it and was hungrey to get back out on track.
We became members of Derby Phoenix Motorcycle Club (a great club who have made us feel extremely welcome including competitors, officials and marshalls) and our first meeting was at Croft. I had not raced there before.
I was eager to do well and gained 2nd place overall that weekend and seemed to raise a few eyebrows.
Cadwell Park was the venue for the 2nd meeting. With good starts off the grid and totally focussed gained myself two 1st places. The 3rd race I was leading by 5.5 seconds and almost had it 'in the bag' when I lost a knee slider and was just pipped to the post. I was gutted but these things happen in racing. It was pi**ing it down for race 4 and my bike packed in due to an electrical wiring fault in the 1st lap. Again I was disappointed but gained some crucial points back from this meeting and am currently running joint 1st place with Ellerker.
I have the enthusiasm and focus to do well but intend to learn along the way. We have quite a lot of improvements we can make to the bikes and am looking forward to the next meeting at Anglesey.
A huge thank-you to Roger from my mum and dad, Cheryl and Steve for all his help and support with the bikes and for his hospitality at Cadwell where we forgot to bring loads of stuff because of the nightmare getting there (van broke down). I also want to thank Ross (mechanic) for his input at Cadwell also.
See you at the next meeting race buddies!!!!
